Fitzroy Island Jetty

A painting inspired by the jetty on Fitzroy Island, North Queensland just before daybreak. The glow of the sun beginning to rise over the mountains, just reaching the jetty, while everything is still in shadow.

I'm a 24 year old self-taught artist from Cairns, Australia. I've been painting for around 5 years and love it, and have recently decided to sell some of my works for others to enjoy. I am primarily a watercolour artist, I very much enjoy plein air painting and capturing the feeling of places in colour on paper. Recently I have also begun oil painting so look out for some oil paintings in the future!
