Steadfast in the swell is the second in a series of impressionist seascapes and landscapes. The triptych features strong landmasses, immovable in the midst of a rough sea. My intention in these works is to display the ability to hold firm when you have a sure anchor even though the world often revolves chaotically around you.

Using a pallet knife first to apply layers of acrylic paint straight to the canvas I followed with a paintbrush and colours mixed on a pallet.

The three canvas are each 12” x 12” plus the thin frame. Each is 0.75kg.
