After studying my subject, taking photographs and making various sketches - I work out my design on paper before transferring it to the lino. I then use various tool to cut away the areas that I do not want the ink to have contact with. The lino is then inked and the paper placed carefully upon it. Once pressed the paper is removed and the image transferred.
I use watercolours and inks to hand colour each image, making everyone quite unique.
I particularly enjoy hand colouring this design because there plenty of opportunity for altering the colours, depending on my mood!
The edition is limited to just 50, and they are all individually hand coloured, making each piece unique. Each work of art is numbered and signed by me, and are delivered to you framed in a classic black frame, gallery standard and ready to hang.
The linoprint itself measures 150x150mm, and the outer dimensions of the frame measure 250x250mm.
These beautiful linoprints look lovely on their own, or hung in groups of 2 or 4, and it's fun to collect different ones in the series!
Supporting Australian artists living and working in rural communities is a wonderful thing - so thank you!
