Pink a piece from the Pardis series, draws inspiration from the sublime beauty of nature, exalting the charm of the mundane in our daily lives. Executed with precision, this artwork employed the stippling technique, a process that involves the deliberate application of countless tiny dots to conjure the interplay of light and shadow. This method has proven to be not only an artistic endeavor but also a therapeutic one, offering the artist a sense of serenity through its repetitive yet purposeful nature.
Measuring 21 x 21 cm, this creation is set against a 32 x 32 cm black mount, creating a pronounced contrast that accentuates its visual impact. I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Brisbane, Australia.
My works reflect my experience as a migrant female artist living between different countries, cultures, and languages.
I am interested in concepts such as identity, self, mental well-being, and the sense of belonging. The inspirations for my works are tales and stories as well as everyday life experiences. I work with various media and techniques in my creative journey.
Born in Tehran, I migrated to Australia in 2003. My second migration was to the UK in 2011. After living in England, Scotland, and Lithuania, I moved back to Australia in 2023.
I have three master’s degrees in art and had group and solo exhibitions internationally. My works are kept in private collections in Canada, Australia, and UK.
