A statement from the artist:
“My art has never been one thing. My artistic interests are varied, and the art follows suit; from realism to abstract, from serious to slightly off-the-wall. I get excited about one idea, explore it for awhile and then move on. This has been a challenge throughout my career for the last 20 years: having one “look” can go a long way toward defining an artist, but in the end I’m more interested in exploring what I can do, and how I do it. The truly common thread throughout my work has always been an intense love of nature and the flora and fauna it encompasses. Increasingly I’m exploring color, movement and texture by way of abstracts, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.”
