“Yumi” captures the delicate beauty and cultural elegance of a young Japanese woman adorned with traditional elements. Her hair is elegantly styled with flowers and decorative ornaments that symbolise both beauty and nature. She is dressed in a kimono that has a floral collar created with collage, creating interest and texture. She has been painted with Acrylics and the neutral background infused with dynamic splashes of red, blue and gold also painted in Acrylics, with Collage pieces showing Japanese calligraphy.
