Another collaboration between esteemed potter Suvira McDonald of Suvira Studio and myself. While I've sculpted the piece, Suvira has applied his masterful glazing technique. The outcome is a distinctive, dynamic sculpture radiating energy and vitality. This is a really sweet little creature, lovable.
Sculptures make great gifts.
Unlike paintings which are limited to two dimensions, the sculpture reflects life in three-dimensional space. Sculpture inhabits the space shared by the viewer. Sculptures are tactile, one can touch them and feel their texture, weight and shape. The sculpture has a surprise function that can trigger pleasant psychological arousal resulting in a deeply satisfying and genuinely invigorating aesthetic experience.
