Miro's Laughing Hyenas

I fired this ferocious creature several times. I then ground into the glaze and painted a Joan Miró pattern over the body using Gouache and acrylic paints.
Research indicates sculptures provide higher emotional support than paintings. Unlike paintings that are limited to two dimensions, the sculpture reflects life in three-dimensional space. Sculptures are tactile; one can touch them and feel their texture, weight and shape. Sculptures surprise and trigger pleasant psychological responses resulting in a profoundly satisfying and genuinely invigorating aesthetic experience.
