Artwork Description

Inspired by the human form and life drawing, 'Pear-fect' admires the beauty of the curves of a woman, and the nourishment a woman brings to life.

The beauty of viewing this original piece is to see how the colours and textures of the paint and plywood react in differing light. My personal favourites are the hot red, and its role changing in daylight and dusk light, and the small cracks in the wood.

Painted with acrylic, and charcoal (a common medium used in Life Drawing sketches).

This original piece is measured at 59.6 x 89.6 cm, a light hand-crafted plywood box frame with D-hooks ready to hang.

Artist Bio
