Tribal Girls No 2

Inspired by my various travels, Tribal Girls No. 2 pays homage to civilisations still existing as preserved tribes, their traditions reflected in their every day lives. The intricate detail and beauty of indigenous dress and the customs that are celebrated every day; just beautiful.
Over 60 hours went into this piece, and it’s one that I’m incredibly proud of.

I paint wherever my mood and ideas takes me, drawing a lot on inspiration from the environment, human emotions and my extensive travels.

I like to use shape and contrast in my paintings and favour painting with oils for most of my work.
