Living in Queensland, Australia and having travelled to other countries with tropical climates, I have been inspired by the lush landscapes so vibrant in colour and diversity of plant life. This artwork has been inspired by a pocket within my tropical landscape of my home. The process of lino printing, lends itself beautifully to capture the layering and textures of my home garden.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm inspired by the nature and beauty I encounter in my home surroundings and through my travels. I have an eye for detail and love to challenge myself in how I capture those details. Ever since I was a young child I have always created, with drawing being very first passion. I followed my passion for art and mentoring by completing a Bachelor of Fine Art at Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. My preferred way of creating now is painting, often large scale canvases, and lino printing. I am a qualified artist and thoroughly enjoy developing young people's artistic vision and skills within secondary school environment. I'm strong believer in practicing what you preach/teach, hence my continuing personal artistic journey and practice.
