Dance with Hue

Dance with Hue is a new abstract landscape painting from my 'Fresca' series which focuses on the balance between spontaneity and consideration. Just like in life it’s important to plan some things but also leave space for passion and intuition to guide us. A perfect blend I think.

Dance with Hue is a combination of greens, blues, greys and mustard olives and is painted on quality 12oz stretched canvas. She will come rolled in a tube. There is an allowance of 3.8cm for the painted image to wrap around the sides of the finished (stretched) painting (as shown in the images).

Dance With Hue will be finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.

Stephanie grew up in the Country areas of the New South Wales Central Coast and moved to the Gold Coast in 1997 to be closer to her family. Daughter of political cartoonist Larry Pickering and one of eleven children, she enjoyed a colourful and interesting childhood. With a background in graphic design she was a partner in 'Studio Otto Illustration and Design' for 12 years before deciding to devote her time fully to painting in 2007. Solo Exhibition venues include Gold Coast 'Home of the Arts', Bundall, Doggett Street Studio, and Newstead Brisbane.
