Sans - blue green apricot abstract

Sans is a 91 x 91cm abstract painting from my new 2019 series 'Fresh'. This series focuses on the balance between spontaneity and consideration. Just like in life it’s important to plan some things but also leave space for passion and intuition to guide us. A perfect blend I think.

Sans is very textured and is a combination of blues, greens and neutrals with a touch of apricot. This painting is on loose canvas and will require stretching on a frame which you can have done at your local framers. Alternatively we can organise this for an additional $120. A floating Oak frame can also be arranged for $260.

Stephanie grew up in the Country areas of the New South Wales Central Coast and moved to the Gold Coast in 1997 to be closer to her family. Daughter of political cartoonist Larry Pickering and one of eleven children, she enjoyed a colourful and interesting childhood. With a background in graphic design she was a partner in 'Studio Otto Illustration and Design' for 12 years before deciding to devote her time fully to painting in 2007.
