Artwork Description

Timbral is a new painting from Stephanie's Concerto series and can be hung vertically or horizontally.

''My intention for this series is to convey parallels in the expression of energy inherent in all genres of the arts. Each painting is titled a musical term that can be conveyed through an abstract art form. Timbral refers the timbre (or quality) of a sound or musical instrument. I hope you can sense the musical energy in this work.'

Timbral is a combination of sage, aqua, teal, mauve, navy, yellow and mustard with washes of white and beige. He's painted on a quality stretched canvas. The image wraps around the 3.8cm sides so Timbral is ready to hang.

Timbral will be finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.
