These original oil paintings on canvas are of an apple, first whole, then half eaten, then the apple core.
I have painted in many mediums over the years, using watercolours, acrylics, even red wine and coffee! But I have finally delved into oils and feel like I have found my true calling.
I painted them using oil paint and after weeks of drying, I varnished them twice with a gloss varnish, giving them a gorgeous shine. I built custom floating frames for these paintings using Tasmanian Oak and the canvasses sit happily in there. They have a wire across the back so they can be hung on a wall, or even looks gorgeous just sitting on a shelf.
They are 15cm x 15cm and 5cm deep.
They would look gorgeous as a set in a nice, sunny kitchen!
I am selling them as a set.
