Daisies

“Daisies” was painted on a rainy afternoon after I regretted not buying the cutest bunch of daisies that I saw at the fruit shop. I decided to paint them instead. I wanted the daisies to be extra chunky and messy, showing how nature is perfect in its imperfections. I added the string to give it even more depth. I saved some timber framing from being thrown out and built a custom frame for this piece. I love the way it turned out and I think it would look gorgeous on any wall!
