I went to Art collage relatively late ,in my early 30s. I had tried a lot of other jobs but discovered that I was good at the Art. I usually become good at whatever I do as Artists do……..I didn’t get my qualification but started to build on my training. I taught myself several mediums developing a style. I created a large body of work mainly drawing. People tell me I am a good draughtsman to record what’s going on around me but also create uniquely interesting imaginative drawings in numerous mediums. I often get bullseyes in the likeness of my sitter, working quickly doing portraits. I enjoy working from life and can often do one portrait after another.
I am skilled. I often Busk doing portraits and also play music as a multiple instrument player. I’m pretty much a creative type. My strength is with draughtsmanship and different ideas particularly in the drawing mediums. I am in the consolidation stage of my life and my talents have been sharpened extensively.
I lost count of the group art shows I have been a part of at 300 shows including 11 of my own. I’m hardworking, painstaking and highly detailed in my delivery of my images.
