Artwork Description

Giclée on paper

Signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.

Dystopia? What dystopia? When I scroll my social media, I am sometimes somewhat startled at the posts directly following each other. For instance, when a calamity follows a celebration. A triumph following a tragedy. It makes me wonder if these types of disparities cultivate a sort of split personality in us?

In these pieces of 'conscionable art', I sought to show this awkwardness we encounter on a daily basis, to perhaps show the utter ridiculousness and discomfort of trying to embrace frivolity amidst misfortunes.

Bono once said in an interview, that he finds it impossible to enjoy his wealth knowing that much of the world endures poverty. Similarly, I find myself more and more at odds with the aesthetic with wars raging across the pond. This photoshopped artwork is my reminder to default my resources where I can to those most in need.

Each artwork will be printed using the museum quality Giclée print process, on Canson Infinity Rag Photographique 310gsm. PLEASE ALLOW A FEW DAYS FOR PRINTING BEFORE THE DISPATCH PROCESS BEGINS.

As per the image attached, each artwork is named and numbered according to ‘Editions’, and ascend with each order up to one hundred.

Every artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
