Artwork Description

I got up at 3.30am and headed to the south coast near Kiama.
I walked around Bombo head in the dark with my head torch on and eventually found this amazing spot with unusual rock formations.
My first visit for a sunrise here wont be my last!
I always hope for the best each time I set out.
Dedication and timing is everything in Landscape photography.
You never know what gift you will be given each time you head out.
I waited patiently out in the rain for this photo for the light.
This is before the sun came out.
Beautiful soft light from the storm clouds above.
My umbrella couldn't hold from the strong wind and flipped inside out multiple times eventually breaking it it was so strong.
Constantly wiping my lens from tiny water droplets.
Conditions were very difficult to make a photograph.

Drenched in water I was saying to myself

"Why do I do this?"

I hope you like it.

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."

from the book of James 1:12 (the Bible)
