Little Street in Amsterdam

I have always loved Vermeer's : "Little Street Delft". I think it's one of the classics of 17th century Dutch genre and landscape painting.
Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Holland and the canal streets of Amsterdam reminded me of Vermeer's Delft.
This is my tribute to a great Dutch artist.

I was born in Budapest, Hungary and arrived in Australia in 1957. Studied medicine at Sydney University and worked as a family doctor for about 40 years in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Started art studies as an evening student at the National Art School in Darlinghurst between 1972-76. I have been widely exhibiting my works both in Australia and overseas. I have been teaching art (painting,drawing,etc.) for 25+ years both in various evening colleges and and in my Kensington studio privately. I am still actively enjoying creating works of art and hope to do so for a long time.
