Stephen Leek
Artist from Bellingen, NSW.
Born in Melbourne VIC in 1962
Moved to Bellingen 1993
Studied with the painter Ted Hillier 1993-2003
With influences from painters like Max Beckman, Bonnard
and some German expressionism. Using interplay of stylised shapes
and colours I have tried to develop my own expression in local sea landscapes
and also figure painting.
