Artwork Description

My pedal-powered Cyclops Lightning was my favourite car I've ever had. I'd race it around the backyard, dressed in my cowboy outfit, until one day I rammed it into the Hills Hoist and face-planted into the steering wheel. After my lip heeled I was back doing laps around the yard in my beloved red racer.

I paint streets, landscapes, portraits and other things that capture me.

My artist journey began with an early passion for painting before following a career in television and film where I've created soundtracks for many of Australia's best known television shows and award winning productions. In recent years I've returned to my original love of painting.

I’m drawn to the often overlooked moments of emptiness or disquiet within urban environments and aim to evoke some response or humour through much of my work. I also like to explore at the imbalance, or sometimes tension, between the constructed and natural worlds.
