Artwork Description

The walkway is a connection between two worlds - a child car centre and a community centre. The sounds of children's laughter echo above as parents drop off their little ones. Below, older members of the community slowly make their way down to the community centre for their morning gatherings.

I paint streets, landscapes, portraits and other things that capture me.

My artist journey began with an early passion for painting before following a career in television and film where I've created soundtracks for many of Australia's best known television shows and award winning productions. In recent years I've returned to my original love of painting.

I’m drawn to the often overlooked moments of emptiness or disquiet within urban environments and aim to evoke some response or humour through much of my work. I also like to explore at the imbalance, or sometimes tension, between the constructed and natural worlds.
