I’m drawn to these in-between places where nothing dramatic is happening, yet the landscape feels familiar loaded with memories. The large painted “40” is not only the speed limit; it’s reminder to slow down, to linger, to look and to feel.

I paint streets, landscapes, portraits and other things that capture me.

My artist journey began with an early passion for painting before following a career in television and film where I've created soundtracks for many of Australia's best known television shows and award winning productions. In recent years I've returned to my original love of painting.

I’m drawn to the often overlooked moments of emptiness or disquiet within urban environments and aim to evoke some response or humour through much of my work. I also like to explore at the imbalance, or sometimes tension, between the constructed and natural worlds.
