As a young boy I lived in a house on a hill in the Hobart suburb of Taroona, in Tasmania. One of my strongest memories is waiting for the annual Sydney to Hobart yachts to enter the Derwent River. Today when I watch the yachts departing Sydney Harbour I still feel the same anticipation and excitement as a boy.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I paint streets, landscapes, portraits and anything else that captures me.
My artist journey began with an early passion for painting before following a career in television and film where I've created soundtracks for many of Australia's best known television shows and award winning productions. In recent years I've returned to my original love of painting.
Iβm drawn to the often overlooked moments of emptiness or disquiet within urban environments and aim to evoke some response or humour through much of my work. I also like to explore at the imbalance, or sometimes tension, between the constructed and natural worlds.
