Hi I am Jo, a Sydney based Graphic Designer with over 30 years experience in design and marketing. Brought up in a creative family who endorsed the love of colour and self expression has been an inspiration and the fore front of my work.
I love to paint how I feel and what is speaking to me at the present time. My love of creation, texture and the use of colour brings passion, joy and soul to my work . I have been painting for over 20 years using a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylics, printing and oils. I started out as a children's book illustrator and christmas card designer and now use a more bold, abstract, out of the box approach to my art. Each year for the past seven years I have curated a community art installation that encourages people to pursue their passion and be creative. A great opportunity to showcase peoples talents and gifting. I mostly sell my work through my own art exhibitions and from my website.
