Margaret Dumont was a brilliant character actress who appeared in several Marx Brothers films, always as the wealthy widow being pursued by Groucho, while suffering his horrendous insults. There is a crease in center of the cardboard, running from top to bottom and from side to side, where it was accidentally discarded before it was finished by a temperamental artist who felt Harpo's hair was the wrong shade of blonde. My father urged me to finish it and so here it is. Incidentally, my father met Chico Marx (the one with the pointy hat for non Marx Brother fans) in 1949 when he worked at a music store and had to help Chico select a piano for his Sydney concert.
