Artwork Description

The softness of the sand and vegetation in the dunes, provide an interesting contrast to the sea behind. The vegetation has many colours, some of which seem to create a sparkle. The overall scene conveys peace and harmony intended to help a viewer relax and enjoy the moment.

Influenced by Lucky Bay, Western Australia.

Artist Bio

I'm a visual artist, based in Adelaide. I mainly work in acrylics, but I also do some watercolor pieces. I'm always looking for new subjects. You would mostly call my work impressionism and sometimes expressionist.

For me, making a piece of art is always an experiment, a journey. I rarely know what the final outcome will be. I look for ideas from the environment, photographs and simple life events. I start with an idea, and let the painting take me to a conclusion. This adds excitement and stimulation to my work.

As a self-taught artist, I learn every day. I try to improve on every piece that I create. I am passionate and dedicated, and I try to paint every day.

Thank you for visiting my bio.
