Artwork Description

This abstract seascape invites viewers to immerse themselves in the emotional complexity of this painting. The blue and purple cloudy sky and textured waves evoke a intuitive response, leading to additional contemplation and a connection to the power and beauty of the sea in its most intense and atmospheric moments.

The sky is textured with layers of billowing clouds that loom overhead. The multiple hues add depth to the clouds, giving them a three-dimensional quality and suggesting an impending storm. The small birds indicate a return to the safety of home.

- One of a kind original painting.
- This painting is on stretched artist quality canvas with an internal wooden frame.
- A floating timber frame made from hardwood stained white is included.
- The artwork is signed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

I'm a visual artist, based in Adelaide. I mainly work in acrylics, but I also do some watercolor pieces. I'm always looking for new subjects. You would mostly call my work impressionism and sometimes expressionist.

For me, making a piece of art is always an experiment, a journey. I rarely know what the final outcome will be. I look for ideas from the environment, photographs and simple life events. I start with an idea, and let the painting take me to a conclusion. This adds excitement and stimulation to my work.

As a self-taught artist, I learn every day. I try to improve on every piece that I create. I am passionate and dedicated, and I try to paint every day.

Thank you for visiting my bio.
