Artwork Description

In the Gascoyne region of awesome Western Australia are vast wide-open plains, showing colours of ochre, maroon and dark green. These plains are punctuated by 150 kilometres of the mountains known as the Kennedy Range. Spectacular ochre coloured sandstone cliffs abound, which provide travellers with amazing views.

This large painting captures the vastness of the landscape, and truly represents the remoteness of this reagion. The painting offers many hours of viewing pleasure.

- One of a kind original painting.
- This painting is on stretched artist quality canvas with an internal wooden frame.
- A floating timber frame made from Tasmanian Oak is included.

Artist Bio

I'm a visual artist, based in Adelaide. I mainly work in acrylics, but I also do some watercolor pieces. I'm always looking for new subjects. You would mostly call my work impressionism and sometimes expressionist.

For me, making a piece of art is always an experiment, a journey. I rarely know what the final outcome will be. I look for ideas from the environment, photographs and simple life events. I start with an idea, and let the painting take me to a conclusion. This adds excitement and stimulation to my work.

As a self-taught artist, I learn every day. I try to improve on every piece that I create. I am passionate and dedicated, and I try to paint every day.

Thank you for visiting my bio.
