Steve Usang engages colour to explore the profundities the world offers him. This is the focus of his art - trying to understand nature and its workings; people and their living, through the materiality of colour and the abstractness of lines. He enjoys penning down his thoughts in a poetic manner and delights in the physical sciences.
Of West African origin, he now resides in Sydney, Australia.
