I have been painting and drawing from a very young age, and was strongly influenced by parents who also painted. I was raised all over the world, and can draw on influences and events from the years in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Indonesia, Malaysia and of course, Australia. These days I live in Sydney's Cremorne Point, where I am a full-time artist. I have two other art genre practices, both of which are represented by BlueThumb. This is my Contemporary Gallery, where I showcase the other side of my brain's output. This practice started about four years ago, after I felt the need for a more cerebral expressive outlet. In a strange way, each practice assists and informs the other.
