My name is Darren Shaw and I was raised in Emu Plains. I've lived and worked in Emu Plains, NSW all my life. My work is informed by color and forms found in nature and influenced by the work of painters Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian, Joan Miro, Henri Matisse and Umberto Boccioni. In hundreds of private collections worldwide, my work has become increasingly sought after by patrons. I sell my one of a kind paintings here through my website and I enjoy creating commissioned paintings for my collectors as well.
My abstract paintings come from my heart....expressing emotion as a visual language, using pure color and expressive marks to connect and communicate. I've been told by my fans that my work emits a special light and magic that is both spiritual and moving.
