TheTapDrips is a colour-focused abstract artwork. I was experimenting with the concept of geometric shapes but using a serrated palette knife when I created this artwork. I began layering them across the canvas but half way down, I decided the painting would look better aesthetically by introducing a different technique. I sponged the background with paint to give the surface an interesting look. Using the same colours as the squares and rectangles, I thinned the paint and proceeded to let the paint run down the canvas from the brush.
