Landscape photographer Stuart Templeton lives in the Adelaide Hills with his wife and two young children. Initially using video and still photography for high performance sailing coaching Stuart soon combined his passion for the natural environment and his self-taught photography skills.
Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing aspect of nature Stuart has continued to grow and push his skills. Something Stuart tries to do through his photos are show something new to the viewer of our environment. Whether this through changing viewing angles, exposure times or digital manipulation he still wants to make the location the hero.
Stuart has recently started to expand is artistic interests into painting exploring colours through acrylic pouring.
In 2014 in his first SALA festival Stuart was awarded The Austral Hotel Emerging Artist Award. Stuart has also been a finalist for the Centre of Creative Photography Latent Image award in both 2015 and 2016.
