This painting is a free-flowing abstract responding to torrential rainfall and its effect on my local landscape.

Former newspaper artist now working in fine art. Drawing and painting, and using mixed media, my current works are primarily abstract in nature. My drawings explore shapes texture and tone, and a responsive technique I have recently developed. My paintings reflect a wabi sabi sensibility in terms of aesthetics and approach and most recently I have been working with acrylic paint.
