I looked for some interesting texture to add to this piece and instead of adding sand I added bark chip. It highlighted the trails l had laid with threads of glue. After l had painted the piece the trails stood out. I loved the aerial view that reminded me of a city. They reminded me of Broadway as it threads across Manhattan. As an Aussie I related this to our rail system. Subway. Fits for me.
