I am an artist and designer located in the historic city of Albany on the south coast of West Australia. With over 30 years working in the arts and exhibiting widely since completing a Fine Arts degree at Curtin University in Perth in 1988, my experience has ranged from public art projects, arts consultation, community arts, and exhibition curation. I have also worked nationally and internationally as a community arts worker and artist-in-residence.
For the last fourteen years my focus has been my design studio called โThis Papercut Lifeโ. Here I design and create contemporary papercut and woodcuts, jewellery, art objects, and designs for public spaces. As well as hand cutting large paper artworks, I also use lasercutting to cut and etch my designs in paper, perspex, and wood. Themes include West Australian and Australian flora and fauna design, as well as delicate paper designs which celebrate family and community in all their myriad forms.
My work has been commissioned by both the corporate and private sectors, and I stock galleries including Aspects of Kings Park (WA), and the National ANZAC Centre in Albany as just a few.
