Childhood Memories

When I was little I used to stay at my grandparents house most holidays as my parents had a business to run.. my grandmother would quite often take us to the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Melbourne. My painting is my childhood memory of the gardens in full colour near one of our most favourite places to sit and have our picnic.

I have lived in Torquay all of my life, being surrounded by the beauty of the beaches the motivation to paint was never to far away.
I find inspiration not only from my local area but also from places that I have visited.
My work often reflects my travels, the laneways, houses, the history that are part of everyday life of the town and its people.
I particularly love the beaches, the rocks, cliff faces, the way that colour changes not only with the light, but from state to state and country to country.
