Moody Skies

The storm clouds are building as we drive along the road hoping we will get to our destination before the rain starts.
The sky is dark with large blue and white fluffy clouds that are ready to open , below the paddocks are green with grass and are divided by a few of the farmers planted tree lines .
We often drive along this road on route to visit one of our children and I always admire the change of seasons and how the landscape changes.

I have lived in Torquay all of my life, being surrounded by the beauty of the beaches the motivation to paint was never to far away.
I find inspiration not only from my local area but also from places that I have visited.
My work often reflects my travels, the laneways, houses, the history that are part of everyday life of the town and its people.
I particularly love the beaches, the rocks, cliff faces, the way that colour changes not only with the light, but from state to state and country to country.
