Driving along a country road I was taken by the Beauty of this simple shed sitting by a freshly cropped field , the rows of trees dividing the paddock and the fence line that had a few broken branches wedged in it to keep it up .

I have lived in Torquay all of my life, being surrounded by the beauty of the beaches the motivation to paint was never to far away.
I find inspiration not only from my local area but also from places that I have visited.
My work often reflects my travels, the laneways, houses, the history that are part of everyday life of the town and its people.
I particularly love the beaches, the rocks, cliff faces, the way that colour changes not only with the light, but from state to state and country to country.
