Artwork Description

Whilst on holidays at the beach in Queensland the sun was shining and the surf was huge. I loved the way you could see all the colours in the wave as they came to a peak before they broke and cascaded down onto the rocks below

I have lived in Torquay all of my life, being surrounded by the beauty of the beaches the motivation to paint was never to far away.
I find inspiration not only from my local area but also from places that I have visited.
My work often reflects my travels, the laneways, houses, the history that are part of everyday life of the town and its people.
I particularly love the beaches, the rocks, cliff faces, the way that colour changes not only with the light, but from state to state and country to country.
