I discovered my love of painting approximately 10 years ago. I prefer to paint in oils and enjoy referencing photos I have taken or images friends have shared as a starting point. I love painting with bold, bright colours and am strongly influenced by impressionism; exploring different styles of painting, brush strokes and paint application.
I have undertaken art classes and workshops at Splashout Art Studio, Adelaide Central School of Art and Atelier Gallery.
During lockdown I spent many hours painting and some of the works displayed have been inspired by the isolation and the emotions it provoked.
