Artwork Description

This painting captures the quiet aftermath of movement—where waves settle and the sky softens, but the energy still lingers. With layered greens, blues, and whites, Still After Storm reflects the emotional residue of change, and the calm that follows chaos.

It’s a visual meditation on resilience, painted intuitively to honour the healing that happens not in the storm, but in the stillness that comes after.

Artist Bio

I’m a Tasmanian artist and art therapist whose work is shaped by the wild beauty of this island and the transformative power of creativity. My paintings are intuitive, layered, and emotionally charged—born from a belief that beauty can be bold, messy, and healing.

As an art therapist, I’ve seen how making art can unlock emotion, shift energy, and reconnect us to what matters. That same spirit lives in my work. I paint to explore the tension between chaos and calm, drawing from nature’s textures and the inner landscapes we all carry.

Each piece is a conversation—between colour and feeling, viewer and memory. If you’re drawn to art that resonates beyond the surface, that feels raw, reflective, and alive, I invite you to explore my collection. My desire is that each painting stirs something deeper, something that lingers in the soul.
