Artwork Description

Living beside the Tamar River in Tasmania means waking to a landscape that shifts with the seasons, each one distinct, each one stunning. This piece captures the calm of an autumn morning, where reflections ripple gently and colour dances across the water.

Painted with a sense of stillness and gratitude, Tamar Reflections invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and reconnect with nature’s quiet rhythms. It’s a tribute to the beauty of true seasons and the healing power of place.

Artist Bio

I’m a Tasmanian artist and art therapist whose work is shaped by the wild beauty of this island and the transformative power of creativity. My paintings are intuitive, layered, and emotionally charged—born from a belief that beauty can be bold, messy, and healing.

As an art therapist, I’ve seen how making art can unlock emotion, shift energy, and reconnect us to what matters. That same spirit lives in my work. I paint to explore the tension between chaos and calm, drawing from nature’s textures and the inner landscapes we all carry.

Each piece is a conversation—between colour and feeling, viewer and memory. If you’re drawn to art that resonates beyond the surface, that feels raw, reflective, and alive, I invite you to explore my collection. My desire is that each painting stirs something deeper, something that lingers in the soul.
