Artwork Description

The Turning Sky captures a moment of emotional and environmental shift—where swirling clouds meet reflective waters, and tension gives way to transformation. Painted in rich reds, pinks, and blacks, this abstract landscape invites the viewer to sit with discomfort, beauty, and change.

It’s a visual meditation on how storms—internal or external—can stir something deeper, and how reflection brings clarity in the aftermath.

Artist Bio

I’m a Tasmanian artist and art therapist whose work is shaped by the wild beauty of this island and the transformative power of creativity. My paintings are intuitive, layered, and emotionally charged—born from a belief that beauty can be bold, messy, and healing.

As an art therapist, I’ve seen how making art can unlock emotion, shift energy, and reconnect us to what matters. That same spirit lives in my work. I paint to explore the tension between chaos and calm, drawing from nature’s textures and the inner landscapes we all carry.

Each piece is a conversation—between colour and feeling, viewer and memory. If you’re drawn to art that resonates beyond the surface, that feels raw, reflective, and alive, I invite you to explore my collection. My desire is that each painting stirs something deeper, something that lingers in the soul.
