Tulip in Orange, Burgundy and Pink

This lone, reddish orange tulip with dashes of pink and burgundy stands out against a background of dark greens and blues. Though not a large painting, with its bold colours, attention to detail, and dramatic contrasts between lights and darks, it makes quite a statement.

My art allows me to recreate my ‘happy places’ - snorkeling the colourful, chaotic yet somehow soothing Ningaloo reef, walking the beaches of West Australia's stunning coastlines, or indulging my love of flowers, birds and nature.
