As a child growing up in New Zealand I spent many happy hours drawing people, animals and still life. I moved to Sydney in my twenties and it wasn’t until then that I starting learning to paint through the local Community College. Over the next couple of decades in between raising a family and my school teaching career, I have always continued making the time to paint. I love working in acrylic and exploring the many different effects that can be created on canvas. I have sold paintings locally and overseas and was excited to have a painting selected for the St George Art Awards Finalists’ show 2016.
