This artwork comes with an external frame

Finches are delightful little seed eating birds and these ones were no exception. This artwork was created firstly by going out and photographing these birds, next photographs were selected and processed so accurate size could be obtained in the painting. The background was then created with the emerald grass green colour texture as this is what these birds feed on and finally the birds were painted in detail and the canvas was framed with a natural floating frame. Their tails were a delight to see thus I placed one birds tail centrepiece creating a small group of chatterboxes as they very social birds and stay in flocks.
