Gang- gang Cockatoos are comical little birds with red tufts of feathers on their heads. The male has a has a particular expressive face, he is the Party boy of Cockatoo's and Canberra's emblem. The female Gang- gang Cockatoo can be viewed in this collection as well. My husband photographed this one as he was investigating a hollow in the botanical gardens, sadly the next time we visited the entire tree and hollow was gone which made this moment even more special for us.
